Springboard Performance is looking to hire a creative intern to artfully edit engaging video trailers for the marketing of the 2017 Fluid Movement Arts Festival. With creative direction and support from the Associate Artistic Producer and Fluid Fest Marketing Director, the Intern will produce up to twelve 30- 60s promotional videos for the Fluid Festival.
The intern will be responsible for integrating festival graphics and branding, as well as converting and uploading video projects in the appropriate format for distribution across all web and social media channels.
The Intern will also be in charge of archiving all video for future use by the organization. Credit for video editing will be listed appropriately.
Knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, etc
Excellent organization and self-management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability collaborate and receive creative direction from Marketing Project Coordinator
Ability to create quality work that fits the Springboard Performance brand
Creative interest in editing video that captures the energy of the moving body.
Genuine interest and/or experience in dance and the performing arts
Documentary experience preferred, but not required
Ideal for someone with course work in:
- Radio, Film & Television
- Digital Arts
Some specialized skills required:
- Must own your own camera and video editing software
- Videography skills
- Video editing

- The intern will gain valuable experience creating and targeting video for festival and performing arts audiences
- Archive of video projects
- Creation and distribution of up to 14 short (20-60s) promotional video trailers
