Counselling is available to full and part-time registered students, who may experience a wide range of personal, career, or academic issues.

The goal of ACAD Counselling Services is to help students cope with any stressors that may arise, with the aim of enhancing their emotional and psychological well-being. Some of the reasons that students seek counselling include:

  • Feelings of depression or isolation
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Self-esteem or body issues
  • General health and wellness
  • Help with time-management
  • Stressful life experiences
  • Substance abuse
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Career-planning and life transitions
  • Grief and loss
  • Personal Growth
